El Nudo “Albright” / The “Albright” Knot

Este nudo se suele utilizar para empatar dos hilos de diferente grosor. El hilo fino siempre da las vueltas al grueso.

This knot is generally used to link two lines of different weight. The lighter line always winds round the heavier line.

Cuando se empata un trenzado a un nylon el “Abright Seguro 1” suele ser el mejor.

Acordaros de que el trenzado siempre da las vueltas al nylon.


To link a braided line to a normal nylon line the “Secure Albright 1 is generally the best. Remember that the braid always winds round the nylon.

El hilo naranja es nylon. El hilo negro es trenzado.

The Orange line is nylon. The black line is braid.

Cuando se empata un Fluorocarbono a un nylon normal hay que hacer la prueba entre el “Abright Seguro 1” y el “Abright Seguro 2”. El fluorocarbono dando las vueltas al nylon normal suele funcionar mejor, a no ser que haya mucha diferencia en grosor.

Cuando se empata flourocarbono a un trenzado el trenzado siempre da las vueltas al Fluorocarbono.

When linking a Fluorocarbon to a normal nylon line you have to try and test between the “Secure Albright 1” and the “Secure Albright 2”. Winding the Fluorocarbon round the normal nylon line usually works better unless there is a big difference in weights.

When linking a Flourocarbon to a braid, the braid always winds round the Fluorocarbon.
